Word length: LESS than 5000 words.
We're looking for well written horror and/or suspense. Feel free to mix genres -- as long as there is a horror or suspense element to it. Profanity doesn't impress us -- if your character is a "tough guy" for the sole purpose of dropping the F-bomb every other word, then we suggest you change the character. Graphic sex and violence won't impress us either, so use it sparingly. We'd rather be creeped out than grossed out. We'll look at poetry as well, but the same rules apply.
